On the outskirts of Tijuana, Mexico, in communities scattered along the hillsides, you will find our sponsored children and their families. They reside in the barrios of Terrazas, El Florido and Diez de Mayo with many families living in small dirt floor shacks, built from discarded pieces of wood and tin sheets.
ChildCare INTERNATIONAL has been working with Childcare De Mexico AC since 1999 to provide hope through education and the Word of God, for these impoverished children.
Our sponsorship program in Mexico provides the children with their school fees and all the supplies, such as geometry sets, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers and USB drives. As uniforms are mandatory for all children attending school in Mexico, each child receives either pants and shirts or skirts and blouses.
Children also receive biblical teaching through devotional stories, Christian songs and prayer time. Invitations are given to all members of the community to attend bible studies, parenting conferences and health & hygiene information sessions.
Through sponsorship with ChildCare INTERNATIONAL, children are learning how to become young men and women with integrity and courage. Through the opportunity of receiving an education, they are hopeful to achieve their dreams and goals, to one day become pastors, teachers and leaders in their country.
